ABOUT THE BLOG

"Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.

But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."

2 Corinthians 12:8-9

Over time, I have learned the importance of being vulnerable. I often hide behind my pain, afraid of how others may react to it. I view my pain as weakness. However, as I scroll through social media and wrestle with my insecurities, I realize that I am not the only one. We often hide behind well-cropped photos and perfectly crafted captions. I have learned that hidden beneath my insecurities lies purpose and potential. I wanted to create an authentic space where I can share the lessons I am learning as I walk through struggles that many of us can identify with. Whether it be through a season of isolation, a journey through pain, or in our day-to-day struggles, Of Grace and Words serves as a community to encourage one another in the midst of life's growing pains, as well as a reminder that no matter what we face each day, we are carried in and by God's grace. There is always room for Christ's power to shine in and through our weaknesses.

Thank you for joining me in this journey. I pray that together we would learn to find purpose in our pain as God is glorified in and through it.

With grace,

Celina
